I don’t think Long Island, collectively, has changed their eating habits. How would that be possible? Individuals would change their eating habits based on medical issues, weight, etc. the answer to the question is No.

I’m not even sure what the op even means? How would I know if people changed their eating habits?

I don’t go around watching people eat all day.

Does the OP mean times of day/week when people - and what kinds of people (young/single, family, retirees, e.g.) - are more likely to be found eating out? (Suspecting this is the intended meaning, but not sure.)

Perhaps he means whether they eat out more or less since the pandemic and the inflation?

I know I have cut back. I don't mind spending money once in a while but I do not want to get ripped off either.

The OP person is an EX-LIer and maybe she came back to visit friends and family and noticed a change in their eating? I don't get what the other person is asking either.
