Has anyone paid the $60 for an expedited passport?
If so, how long was the wait?
The gov website states 7-9 weeks. Is that range accurate?

I did it back in January at the Farmingdale Post Office and it was back in about three weeks. I do know others that did it online and it took more towards the 7 week or so time.

I paid to expedite last year. Had it in exactly 4 weeks. You really need to go by what's on their website as they keep it accurate as of the date.

Last year got my DD a passport and didn't need to expedite and they said 10 - 12 weeks and it was 11 weeks.

A renewal might be faster. I got a "new" passport a couple years ago but sent in my long-expired passport with the app and had my new one in two weeks. But again - my daughter was just going from child passport to adult and so I was surprised it took as long as it did.

7-9 weeks, insane, such b.s. I saw on Fox that they're giving illegals free passports and they get it in 5 to 10 days, tops.
