Folks - are there any areas that non-residents are permitted to visit? Hoping they aren't guarding them this time of the year. Looking to take a walk there, not swim- too cold for that and we are Hicksville residents. If someone can guide us to a beach access point and where the parking lot is that'll help
If they took federal funding and participated in the shoreline armoring/dune project, the beaches have to be publicly accessible. The kicker is that is only the beach itself... you would need to find a way in that isn't part of a private club.
Nope. It's pretty much sealed off to non members of the beach clubs. We tried going there last year and there was no where to park your car or enter the beach without running into some sort of security or beach patrol.
