I think Nancy's suggestion of Cold Spring Harbor would be terrific. Your baby is only 6 months old (7 now?), but in a matter of 4 years they'll be in kindergarten, and it's hard to beat Cold Spring Harbor School district. It has a private school feel to it. And I think you'll really like the area. So check out the geographical boundaries of the school district. Lloyd Harbor and Lloyd Neck, Laurel Hollow, western fringes of Huntington, and of course Cold Spring Harbor are part of the district. Very picturesque - very upper class.

A beautiful area altogether.

To this day I'd say probably half of my friends are Jewish and I've never heard, or heard from them about any anti-semitism. I think Great Neck is exactly what the original poster means by "super-Jewish area".

"Super-jewish area". What does that mean; 95% jewish. I must imagine there are a good amount of Christians (and others)(and I know there are Asians there as well) in Great Neck, being that it is an awesome town and so close to the city. So I guess me being Christian, I wouldn't be to welcome in Great Neck or Roslyn. I mean I know the Asians are moving in, but they keep to themselves anyway, so it doesn't matter for them.
