Is yours an original stacked block cesspool? Need to be very, very careful with pumping. I had mine done after moving in and the surface was very worn, so I couldn't use chemicals. Ended up putting in a septic tank with reinforced concrete overflow cesspools and filled in the 2 originals. While they weren't in imminent danger of collapse they were saturated and why take the risk?
