I recently moved to the Town of Islip. The recreation guide lists the following beaches owned by the Town of Islip: Atlantique Beach, Bayport Beach, Benjamin Beach (Bay Shore), Hollins Memorial Beach (East Islip), Islip Beach, Ronkonkoma Beach, Sayville Beach, Sayville Marina Park, and West Islip Beach. Does anyone recommend any of those beaches in particular? Which is your favorite? Any that you suggest avoiding? I assume each one has its own character. So, what is distinctive about each of them? Thanks.

I got the town of Islip pass for $25.00 for 3 years. I go to the beach that is down on South Bay Ave. The street is adjacent to the town Hall, (state farm is on the corner) I love it there, not too crowded, clean. they have a full snack bar with various hot and cold foods, ice cream, chips and candy and drinks. They also have a covered gazeebo you can rent or just eat your lunch under. I live In Islip too. I like the idea of driving 5 minutes to get to the beach. Another plus is your car is right there so you don't have to walk far to the sand.I have pictures I took I have to find them and post a few.

Very Funny. I do not wear a bikini. Last time I wore one was when I was 4 years old . Even if I did wear one no one on here would get to see any pics.
