Our twin boys are turning 3 in a month and we're also recently moved into our new place so we're doing something at home for sure. Last 2 years we just had a big outing in the yard with food and blow-up bouncies, but this year it's a smaller group so we can do something exclusively for the kids in the bunch. We were thinking of a for-hire entertainer but does anyone have any recommendations or other ideas?

3 year olds need for-hire entertainers at their home parties? Guess I grew up deprived...we use to sing a few songs, hop through the lawn sprayer, eat a hot dog and some cake and think it was wonderful.

May I recommend you turn on the Hi Def Television to Sesame Street..it would be a lot cheaper..or better yet, throw a steak on the barby for me and I'll sing for kids.

Yeah and boys in the 20s played with rocks. We know.

Like I said, we did the same thing the past 2 years in the yards and now just looking to change it up for the guests.

Im sure after having gone to dozens of kid's parties, these guests just can't wait to have things changed up. Im sure they are looking forward to it and I hope you get the proper entertainment, food, beverages, birthday cake and fireworks.

the kids - you are getting too old to be useful. Let people who are actually helpful chime in and stop wasting my time FFS. Every time I introduce someone to this forum I have to warn them about the pessimists - now an innocent question brings out your kind - this forum would do much better without you.

Katie's Puppets featuring Mr Mouse.

She's out of Shoreham, but travels. I hired her years ago and the kids loved her; I've seen her at many different venues (libraries, street fairs, etc.) in the years since. Energetic, silly and interactive -- you can't go wrong.
