Just wondering when and if your outdoor pools and hot tubs in your condos actually close during Winter months. What may seem cold to you may be warm, even if unheated, for swimming for us Canadian owners. Since we'll be retiring and staying at our place Jan to Apr, I think I would still use the pool and the hot tub/jacuzzis in the recreational area. I have read the HOA binder but can't see anything about closure so I'll have to ask next time I'm down there in October.

A lot of the places we looked had them open year round but as you stated most pools were not heated, that we saw.

Ours closes sometime around the end of October and then re-opens the first of May.
The only hot tub I know that is open year round is Macgeeks.

Darn...you do know that we sit in our hot tubs here when its 20 below and we keep them heated all year round...I'm not kidding. It's great for the arthritis! We also don't have a public pool in our town and the closest is about a 2 1/2 hr drive to the city.

One of my first jobs was lifeguarding at a pool on the strip.

We closed in late Oct early Nov

The Canadians would come down and wonder why no one was in the pool. They loved swimming in 60 degree weather.

Keep in mind the OP was asking about Condos, not hotels.

Before I bought my Condo on The Strip I looked at multiple alternatives. I obviously did not visit each and every Condo. But, all I looked at heated their hot tubs year round. They do shut down their pool heating, but keep their hot tubs going.

I heard that he has a cover charge and the bottle service is outragous.

Unless you're a young model type.
