Let be a little more specific. I have a family, but Son is in college and daughter will be in high school. We don't want to live in the inner part of town, but on the outskirts. We prefer a good subdivision with families. I'm sure there are many around that would fit the bill but just didn't want to go on a wild goose chase traveling all over the place and wasting time. I will not have much time to begin with so want to make the best use of it. I've read a lot about Royal Oaks but have no interest living on a golf course. We would like to keep rent around 800 give or take.

If we did live in the county, how much is tuition to send kids to Maryville High?

Unless something has changed, Maryville stopped accepting tuition students a few years ago. You can call the district to be sure. When they did accept tuition students it was in the $2500 per school year per child range if I recall correctly. For $800 you can expect to find a brick 3/1.5 ranch. Streets like Scenic come to mind.

I guess we will just have to ride around the area. Looks like some nice rental properties run around 1000+. Little more than what I want to pay for rent, not unless the wife can make some more money

Looking around on Google Earth, there are a lot of nice areas. The area around Foothills look very nice.

Much appreciated.
