Weatherman tracking a couple super cell storms in Arkansas, headed this way. Hopefully it won't be as bad as December 10, 2021. My wife are doing like the weatherman has said, "be prepared, not scared." Got a couple closets ready to get in. I considered leaving in a hurry. If we have a tornado coming, it will be coming from the southwest, like last time, if it does, before it gets too close, I had considered getting loaded up in the car, with the dogs, and going somewhere southeast. We'll probably just hunker down and ride it out like last time.

We lucked out. Most of it stayed in Tennessee and a little area went up along the Ohio River.

Glad to hear you all are alright and that it wasn't a repeat.

I live in West Ohio about 15 mins from Wapakoneta Ohio that got hit. It was indeed a tornado that touched down. They ruled it EF1. Many businesses are damaged, TA truck stop damaged, will be back up and running in 2 weeks, camp ground damages, Koneta Rubber a mess, Tomato growing plant is gone, completely collapsed, many homes damaged, 7 injured. I do know one did touch down about 3 mins west of me in Mercer County and went northeast. I hunkered in my tiny bathroom with 3 dogs and hubby. The sound was so deafening. Mind you I am deaf without my cochlear implants. I had my implants on, the sirens was drowned out by the winds. Then all of the sudden the winds stopped abruptly and all I heard was sirens. My hubby went out to make sure we were ok. Lots of trees down, homes damaged, 1 business got hit bad north of me.

That sounds like that would have been so scary. I am glad you are both alright though.

Third round tonight seems to be a lot less than last time. Still need to be aware to be safe.

Glad you're OK. When the big one hit here in Dec. '21, we didn't really hear it. We live in an old 2 story double brick house and you don't hear much from outside, plus the tornado was about 6 blocks away. What was wild, was how we could tell when the tornado went through. My son called to check on us, on cell phone, and the phone signal did like it does when you're driving and go through a low area. We had no power for a week and the tornado took a direct hit on the city water plant.

Weather folks moved us into the green for tomorrow. Wife has an appointment at the hospital in the morning so we're hoping it holds off till we're home.
