Hi there,

I am planning to move to Bowling Green, KY next month (Dec. 2022), and looking for 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom rental apartment (I will be the only resident). I haven't been to this area before and I will be working in BG. My two main considerations are: a safe neighborhood and monthly rent below $900. I won't have any pets and do not need a yard. I like the calm environment and prefer to be closest to my workplace (probably no more than 5 miles drive) and any supermarket. I have been searching for the same on the internet and based on the reviews, I found that either there is an issue with the service provided by the property management or the neighborhood is not safe. Thus, could you please suggest me a few options if you are familiar with that area? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

I can't image any neighborhood in BG would have a violent crime issues as murders and shootings are very uncommon there. Maybe property crime or car break ins but that would be about all you should worry about. Based on the size of the town you're going to be 5 miles from anywhere in BG no matter where you live.
