You know that commercial with the yeti who goes to the Christmas party? Ive felt like that my whole life. People love to stair at me wherever I go. I'm considered " exotic". Sometimes it's good, sometimes not so good. I spent 2 months here in Franklin. It's about 45 mins from Nashville (if you're into that sort of thing). A nice little town with a lot of charm and a nice downtown area. The town runs efficiently and is managed well so you can get things done. I felt very comfortable here and the glances I got were approving. There was a religious group that took over the town square on the weekend with microphones, which is intrusive and I say that as a religious person. Also, I don't know how it is long term but bones are good

Glad you are enjoying the area. Kentucky has a “you do you” vibe, more than anything else. My downtown also has its occasional street religious events, not my thing but they are harmless and I am glad others have an opportunity to celebrate things that are important to them.
