Hello all. I'm looking to relocate from Florida, and I've been looking at Somerset a lot. I've been there a couple times and really like it. I would like to get some locals' perspective though. Things to do, places to visit, cost of living, nice areas to live, etc. Also, some info on the hospitals in the area. I'm a Respiratory Therapist and curious about the options there. I'm also kind of a gym rat so I was wondering if anyone knows what the best gym in the area is. I've heard a few people tell me Corbin is a better option in southern KY. Not sure if that's true as I've never been to Corbin, But any info on that area would be appreciated as well. I'll be visiting again in July 2022 and look forward to hearing what the locals have to say. Thank you for any help on this subject.

Somerset is larger and to me seems cleaner than Corbin. Guessing a lot more out of state transplants live in Somerset due to Lake Cumberland. There are mid sized hospitals in both towns.
