Not sure what you mean by prison reputation exactly. If you are talking about tent city that has been gone for several years.

I think it really boils down to living in a big city. Here in PHX people tend to keep to themselves. For example, I have lived in my house for 10 years and I know only one name of all my neighbors. People drive up their drive, pull in their garage and the door is going down before the car is parked.

Yeah, I sometimes forget that Phoenix is such a big city and sprawls outward.

Yeah.... the PHX metro area is about 90 miles from one end to the other. The county I live in, Maricopa, is larger than two or three east coast states, separately.
