I could have sworn that last year I heard on more than one occasion, Kentucky was NOT going to turn the clocks back this Fall. Now I am hearing that we are. What's up with that?

I believe there was legislation taken up and passed in the Kentucky house to allow this but ultimately the Federal government would have the decision on whether if and when it could be implemented.

It’s totally necessary to make the most of daylight hours in the summer. I can understand Kyians frustration with it if you’re in Eastern time zone. Being on the western edge of Eastern time zone gives a 9:30 sunset in the summer. As a kid playing baseball it was wonderful.

On the east coast it is totally necessary otherwise sunset even in summer would be like 7.

You're either going to lose daylight in the morning or at night. I'd also rather they left it alone giving more light in the evenings than in the mornings both summer and winter. I have more things going on in late afternoon than at 7 or 8 in the morning.
