I did not apply for unemployment until two weeks after being laid off. Although I listed my layoff day as the middle of June, when I filed online the first two weeks were excluded. Is there some way to go back and claim those first two weeks that were excluded?

Not trying to be a butt, but, with the current state of the unemployment situation in Kentucky, you could probably go back to the day you were born.

I seem to recall KY always excludes the first two weeks. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Pretty common, Ohio makes you wait 2 weeks as well.
