What is the best overall online site for job hunting? It seems that when I've looked at Indeed, I find jobs pulled from Monster and Career Builder, etc. Is Indeed the best, most thorough one overall?

I've landed all of my jobs so far through Craigslist...

I think Indeed is better than Monster and Careerbuilder. I seem to get more spam when I use Monster. Don't forget to check the websites of companies that you are interested in. USAJOBS is the website to apply for Federal jobs.
Craigslist seems to have more questionable ads, so just be careful and read ads carefully before you apply.

I have found that no job site is safe from the scammers. They are everywhere.

Indeed is an aggregation from other sites. It has the best coverage so if you're only using one it's the best, but it can lag a little bit which isn't a problem if you have a scarce skill-set but makes it useless if you're the 50th person to apply because you saw the job three days after it was posted rather than same day.

Craigslist is likely to turn into a job fast, but you have to read for scams and employers who hire there are likely not to pay particularly well.

USAJOBS and state employment sites have a far higher application --> interview conversion rate, but are also much more of a hassle and you can wait up to a year (literally) to hear back.

Craigslist is still pretty good for local jobs quick, but the scammers are EVERYWHERE on there. After a while, I learned to tell which ones are fakes though (have you noticed how many "legitimate" companies post new jobs on Sundays or on holidays when they're supposed to be closed?????).

Indeed has been good to me. Careerbuilder is full of agencies trying to pad their lists.

I check Indeed and Craigslist every couple hours. I also check Monster and Careerbuilder every Wednesday and Saturday night.

I've had great success with Craigslist, but I'm young and not applying to management level positions, so maybe that's why.

Indeed for looking but there is a lot of competition.

I've had more recruiters contact me through Monster. I have 2 interviews this week, neither company I applied with. They contacted me.

Don't know what is going on with Career Builders. It used to be about even with Monster but not this time around...

Use indeed.com. When you see a listing that interests you, go to the company's site and apply directly.

You do need to go on indeed.com every couple of hours to get the latest postings. They can disappear quickly.
