Seeking feedback on clear creek amana district. Are there any areas that are better to live in in tiffin? Any thoughts on rolling hills subdivision? Has anyone worked with or heard of Legacy Homes before?

I've never heard anything negative about Clear Creek Amana schools. Someone on the Iowa forum from a few months ago (who had kids at Clear Creek Amana) said it's one of the best schools in the area. You really can't go wrong with any of the schools in the Iowa City area.

I'm not familiar with the housing situation in Tiffin.

Tiffin is expanding very rapidly and is a hot-spot for people that want to live near Iowa City but not IN Iowa City (the student population can be.. overbearing and the property taxes are RIDICULOUS for the area). My coworkers daughter goes to Clear Creek and my coworker says many people open enroll just to get their kids there, even if they don't live in the district. Smaller class sizes and lower student:teacher ratio than within Iowa City.

Clear Creek Amana has a great reputation. It's a growing school district. New high school (in Tiffin) and elementary school (in North Liberty) within the last 10 years, new elementary (in Tiffin) opening this fall. Can't speak to living in Tiffin proper, but lots of building going on in North Liberty in the CCA district area, too.
