What does this have to do with Europe?

This is related to the European GDPR and Cookies Directive. Time to learn:

The constant popups are annoying, but we here are affected too. There are ways to handle it:

I am waiting to see similar extension for phones, but I am still visiting all those websites, though.

Moving this thread to Internet Forum.

It really depends. Can't say I've been 'bombarded' with privacy notices or cookie notices. It's usually one and done.

I'm not bothered by it. It's just one time.

I browse a lot of sites (from the EU) so I get lots of pop up and block up warnings and often both cookie and privacy at one location, then after I click OK (sometimes I click DISAGREE or even ignore them if possible) they pop up on the same site again and again, for every new page of the site I go to sometimes there's a new cooie and privacy warning! And then oif In return to the site later even on the same day the cookie and privacy warnings pop up again and having in mind I knew what "cookies" were already over 20 years ago you can understand that by now I had enough and I started leaving the sites upon seeing unreasonable amount of pop up warnings. If that is a commercial sute or a store, they lost my purchase, if a site that I needed info from badly I may have clicked OK but limited my visists and ad clicks on that site. In any case those sites lost at least some traffic and sales.

The pop ups are not the fault of the site, it'e EU law that is to blame. Unless you are a registered and logged in user the only way a site has to track acceptance of cookies is through cookies. If you are blocking/deleting cookies you will continue to get these pop ups everywhere.
