Just curious if any here have developed opinion on the subject? Pro or Con.

I've observed his dealings in context with several projects in the Ft Wayne area over the past 10 years or so. And he strikes me as the sort of self-dealing entrepreneur maybe just a little too well connected. Putting him in the governors chair, scares me a little bit.

I don't know much about Eric Doden, except that he is involved with DOMO who has pretty badly bungled the 420 Main project in Evansville.

Apart from that, considering the atmosphere of Indiana politics today, I'm just rooting for whomever is closest to an Eric Holcomb type.

I don't want to risk getting too deep into the mud. But Doden strikes me as the type who already has the pole position secured before the public even knows there is going to be a race....if that makes any sense. So it truly scares me what advantages he might bring about for himself if given that much power.

Thanks for that lead, ToxicToast, I was previously unaware that Mr Doden had extended his tentacles into Evansville.

The 420 Main project sounds like a typical tax-credit redeveloper project gone flat. I have to wonder how many times the locals were spoon fed the old "catalytic and transformative" spiel, before their patience waned?

Side note it's interesting how many buildings of that style, size, and vintage were built throughout the midwest ....many of which fell upon hard times remaining occupied.
