He's not ignoring math.

High pension payouts + unions = Democrat voters.

What number of deaths are you comfortable with ..... 100,000, 300,000, 1,000,000?

Opening up too soon will be akin to having a designated pee area in your swimming pool.
He closed the border to China. Bill Diblasio said to carry on business as usual. WHO ignored it?

Nothing wrong with reporting new cases or deaths but we really don't have to know about every one.
Agree. And do we really need the life story of every casualty?

Journalists love the dramatic - it's why they are journalists. I also read something that said 72% of the Chicago deaths were African American. Yet, all these stories of casualities....how many involve black families?

I HATE the constant, "let's all be scared and sad" stories because they are dramatic.

New coroner's reports will read, "Succumbed to the Corona Virus just prior to dying of gunshot wounds".

See what I mean...

Mitch McConnell said in a radio interview that Republicans would not support giving state and local governments more money in future coronavirus aid legislation, saying those funds could end up being used to bail out state pensions. He prefers adjusting bankruptcy code so states can file bankruptcy.

A spokeswoman for Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker said "every state is facing budget shortfalls and we need partners in Congress who will work with us on real solutions, instead of using this crisis to propose an ideological Hail Mary."
