I'm pretty much over at the Wisconsin section since I moved from Illinois last fall, but I do have to come and check for photos!
Thanks, Susan! Homesick?

I miss some of my friends, some did come to see me last fall. When and if the weather gets better I'm sure more will be by! I'm in a good spot, on the way to Door County.

I went and got my taxes done, drove to my cousins for Easter so I get back to Illinois. I don't think I would have gone more than 3 hrs. away, I still feel a connection with Illinois.

In fact, my sister and brother-in-law from Iowa will drive over and I'll drive down and we'll do a tour. We do the Culture Center neighborhood tours, our summer tradition. I love it, no driving and trying to park! You just get on the bus and they do the rest. Prices vary, they provide lunch, usually a 3 hr. or so tour. We've been to Pullman, China Town, Little Italy, Chicago Fire Tour, Taste of the Neighborhoods and this year I think its the cemetaries!

From Sunday night. Good thing I snapped the photo when I did, as it was at its climax (as far as color goes). I was gonna wait a few minutes to see how it progressed, and it wasnt much, as the oranges and reds died down quickly. Here it is in all its glory...

Great pics. My favorite would be the first pic of your second post. I like the colors of the sky, and the way the sun looks behind the trees.
