Congrats Trace. Check on Verizon High Speed when you get up here. I hooked mine up a week ago and it is fast...

I don't know where in Idaho you are moving to, but I can remember clearly the day I moved here, it was a summer early evening and I knew I was HOME when I crossed the Long Bridge heading into Sandpoint. I think of that nearly everytime I cross that bridge. What an incredible feeling that was.

Every time I cross the long bridge from the South to North, I am reminded of the first time I saw the lake and fell in love with Sandpoint...I'm so with you there...

Trace...I am SO happy for you...I remember what a great feeling it was to "land" in Idaho...

Trace, it's getting close buddy! I made the move having only driven through once...coming from the East when we arrived, Lookout Pass was the first part of Idaho I saw, just kept getting better. It's funny when you can come to a new place, and it just feels more like "home" than where you've grown up. You're starting a great adventure. Take the time to savor the trip, it's part of the adventure as well!

IMO part of the hospitality you see here is due to the type of people that are moving in. Not everyone has the gumption to leave somewhere they have grown up and know people to start over in a strange place. I like to think that those that do have something to bring to the party as it were.

OK, enough sentimental crap-GIT-R-DONE! We've got some trails to ride. Don't forget to service the AC (Arctic Cat) so it's ready to rock when you get here.

No no, we need more sentimental crap!!!! I haven't weighed in yet! As far as driving across the Long Bridge--oh yes, I'm "home" every time we're fortunate enough to be able to make the trip! 7 times so far since 2004! And now, which was a real surprise to me, I have the same feeling, only more so, when we get to the Clark Fork Delta, and it's only been a year since we bought the property...

Trace, can we bum a ride??? Pleeeze??? We don't take up much space...just the two of us and our 85 pound shepherd...we can stay in your trunk, just put some airholes in for us ! I'm desperate!

Seriously, all the best wishes for the Great Move--there's nothing like seeing a dream come true...
