I travelled in and about Bonner's Ferry last October, as well as most of northern ID. I am looking for a retirement place. I really
loved the town and the area and property is very reasonable, BUT it is a very long way to get to good medical and other necessities for an older gal (retiree) like me. I don't want to be that far from Spokane...just in case. For a younger family I think it would be great! It is a warm friendly place and quite picturesque.
As for me...I think I will stay somewhere between Sandpoint and CdA, but really only because of the reasons stated above. Good luck to you!!!
