When the mail lost my first set of plate stickers this summer, I called my local DMV and they told me to come over the next day and a replacement set would be at the entrance desk.
By then, it was well over a month after I went to the DMV and paid the renewal.
Sure enough, the stickers were waiting for me, about 9:30 a.m. The guard at the desk didn't even know they were there until he looked for them.
Then, around 10 days later, the set from Boise finally showed up. I cut them up and threw them away.
