It's legal, but is it going to help him or hurt him with voters? People typically have problems with out of state money in general. I don't really have an opinion on it either way because I don't live in the 1st CD. It just seems interesting to me. Labrador is desperatley down in funds and needs every dime.

I listen to some local talk radio and Kevin Miller is completely in the bag for Labrador, but I'm pretty sure if Minnick did this he would be outraged. Not the most intellectually honest talking head around.

Does this bother anyone, or do people even care?

Eye On Boise - Spokesman.com Right now it is the second story down on the blog. I couldn't find it anywhere but on a blog where its placement will keep moving down.

It is pretty surprising how big of a lead Minnick has in the polls in one of the most conservative districts in the country. Even though Minnick is probably the most conservative Democrat in the House, he is still a Democrat. And the GOP needs ever one they can to possibly take the House back.

I don't really care for any national-level politicians, since the public must OVER AND OVER have to swallow the bitter pill of voting for the least distasteful fast-talker.

Minnick is a conservative democrat. OK. But if he's "conservative enough" I would think he'd want to put conservatives in power, and switch parties (and probably get even more votes in his district).

So do a lot of things bother me about all these knuckleheads? Yeah.

Everybody in Washington knows Puerto Rico is fertile ground to be taken as fools by Americans looking for donations for campaigns.
The biggest fools are the Statehooders who are promised support in Washington but once given the million dollar checks, they say, thanks, but don't call us we'll call you.

This is just another example of a system gone haywire. Puerto Rico, you say? Hey, the new “promise train” stops at every station.

The cesspool that is Washington is fraught with corruption, lies, unresolved scandals, and some fortune hunters who seem to be bent on destroying our country. Most prostitutes put limits on what they will do for money. That doesn’t appear to be the case with many of our politicians.

New to Idaho politics so I can only say that at least Puerto Rico is part of the USA vs. a well known person who donates hundreds of millions from Europe. And I'll stop there until I move and get more tuned into Idaho politics and who is who.
