I was just wondering if anyone worked at West Corp.? Do you like it? How is management? Are coworkers friendly? What is the environment like? Just wondering...anything you could tell me would be great.

Thanks!

Working at West Corporation - Reviews of Jobs at West Corporation
There are two West - with no description of the company/industry on JobVent profile - I can't tell which one your asking. It seems, people posted on both threads having the Telemarketing company in mind ... Is this what West in Hsv is? or just name coincidence?

Oh, no. Well, that's too bad. I didn't see Huntsville in there, but it sounded exactly like the job I applied for. I have my third interview tomorrow. It's an inbound call center, and I thought the early hours would fit with my schedule, and that it would be okay. But this sounds like a nightmare...

If anyone knows personally of any admin assistant positions, let me know! And yes, I'm on every online job search on earth, so I'm applying to everything there. The catch is that I can only work until 3:30pm, because my son has soccer after school.

Ahh ~ who doesn't love a job hunt?

Well, I believe that after that initial phone interview that I had another one a week or so later. Then I had an in person interview (with the same person) and he offered me the position. However, although I'd told him in all 3 interviews that I could only work each day until 3:30pm AND I'd written it on my paper application AND on their computer application, he still offered me a nighttime position. Thanks so much for wasting a month of my time!!! He knew all along that there were no openings for the dayshifts, and that he'd only be hiring for night. I was so annoyed.

Anyway, that's how it went for me. I ended up finding another job, which is perfect hours for me, and now I'm bartending at night as well. Hope you get the job you want!

Good luck!
