I like the view from the east, I-10/59. It is the maybe most compact view and shows the older buildings up front as well as Minute Maid Park.

My vote is I-45 heading south.
Thanks, though I would consider clutter on the freeway to be the occasional mattress I have to dodge.

Other states seem to do just fine without feeder roads. As a matter of fact continuous feeder roads are very rare in worldwide freeway design and in the U.S. they're generally unique to Texas, with a couple of exceptions. They're more of a tool for land speculators than anything else and always have been - basically ready-made roads to develop on (or is it upon? ).

They are in no, way, shape or form necessary. 288 doesn't even have them for the most part and has less clutter alongside the highway as a result. There's a few freeways in DFW that don't have them and do just fine.

Coming in the SW Freeway at Fountainview is impressive. Haven't seen that mentioned. Its not my favorite (288 is), but I like it better than some of the others mentioned.
