Hi,

I'll be staying at the Woodlands next week and I do not have a vehicle with me. I did some research on the public transport options from Woodlands to downtown Houston and found out about the Woodlands Express Park and Ride buses.

I went to Google maps to checkout the location for Sawdust Park and Ride and realised that the bus terminal is quite far away from the main road and Wood Winds Shopping centre. Can I enquire if it is safe to walk from the bus terminal to the main road?

How about Sterling Park and Ride terminal? The downside for Sterling Park and Ride is the bus timing ain't that good...

Your suggestions will be deeply appreciated! Thanks!!!

Do you need to go to Downtown for a specific reason or just for fun? Will this be on the weekend or weekday? Im not sure the park and ride goes on weekends.

Renting a car would be advisable. Otherwise have a fun, very regimented, traffic-dodging good time.

He needs to go downtown to get a far away from that cancerous mole on the face of mother earth that some people call the woodlands.

not sure if park and ride is running but do whatever it takes ; walk, steel a bike, hitchhike, but get out before its too late!

Wow, is the woodlands really that bad? Haha! Anyway, is the Sawdust Park and Ride very far away from the main road?

Thanks!

I dont think it is walkable from the mall to the park and ride. Maybe your hotel has a shuttle. Downtown is about 45 mins from the Woodlands on a good day. Dont miss the last bus out or it will be pricey cabfare back

Thanks for all your guidance! Deeply appreciate it. I'm planning to take a cab from my hotel to the park and ride in the morning (4.5 miles, shouldn't be that ex, right?) and my problem is I'm afraid I can't get a cab in the park and ride itself, and may have to walk out to the main road. Or will the Sterling Park and Ride be a better option for me?

Thanks!
