I used to do up my front door wreath for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, in addition to all the Big holidays. But, being in Louisiana for 20-something years, Mardi Gras gets preference now. Especially this year, since it falls pretty early.

If I was going do Valentine’s Day, I would do it right after the Christmas stuff gets taken down.

It comes too close to Groundhog for me to do much. I'd have to take those decorations down and put new ones right back up. And then comes President's Day.

Put it all up, go as pink as you can go! Post some pictures.

I will smuggle a card into SO's lunch box or office.

I have a couple Valentines Day oven towels that I might be interchanging starting the 1st week of February, as it falls in the middle of the month. Garden flags - probably the same… I’d have to find them. I think I know where some are though. Usually that’s all I do. Maybe a front door hanging?

The holidays we usually decorate for are Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Also, on St. Patrick's Day we make our lights green, and for Memorial Day and July 4th we make our lights red, white, and blue.

Do you actually decorate? Or are you just changing the color of exterior lights?
There IS a difference!

Nope, I put actual decorations up, not just changing the color of the lights (except for St. Patrick's Day). This year we will probably put an American Flag for Memorial Day/July 4.

I don't decorate, but it makes me smile to see other people's decorations. Jazz, decorate to your heart's content and don't listen to the old f*rts. I think people who do a lot of holiday decorating are happy people, and we need more of that in the world.
