My son has autism, and he is on a gluten free/casein free diet-- it's a diet that eliminates all diary and wheat proteins from your diet-- it's very limited. Right now I live in a small town in ND, we are moving to HR sometime this summer and was wondering how available these foods are at Grocery Stores. Are there good variety of whole foods stores-- here in town there is one whole foods store, and the hours here are horrible at best. I have to order most of my son's foods from Amazon or other sources, and there is not much variety?

Some of the Farm Fresh markets have a nice "natural' section that also includes some gluten free varieties of foods. I pick up pasta and ketchup there when my one friend comes to town so she can have a picnic with us. Other than that, sorry, I am not much help.

Default www.heritagestore.com in Virginia Beach

There's a grocery store in Virginia Beach called Heritage Health Foods, The Heritage - Natural Foods, Holistic Health, and Spirituality for Hampton Roads. I haven't been yet because I live in Hampton but the website looks good and they have a t.v. commercial also.

OMG That's perfect. Thank-you so much. We have one store here that's open at very odd hours, or sometimes not at all during posted hours. They won't order anything, and they don't have nearly the selection. I have had to order like Cheeses for $40.00+ shipping!
