Here is a great video that demonstrates the durability of a Glock:

Pardon a stupid question. I own 2 Glocks for home and carry.

I do not want to convert them, but how the hell did they turn a Glock into a fully automatic weapon??

Here is a picture of the part in question:

Go ahead. Tell us how that will work in a H&K.

I love my glock. It isn't my most accurate side arm, not my most expensive, and not my prettiest. However, it is my most loyal.

It loves me and I love it. People laugh and call her fat and ugly but I don't even have to defend her because both her and I know that we are committed to each other. Sometimes I leave her in her holster while I'm at the range. She isn't jealous that I have the other girls in my hand because she loves being in my pants. It is a place she is familiar with and no one else is in my pants as much as she is. In fact, she is the only one that I trust to hide away that close to my body.

She sleeps closer to me than any of my other guns. She gets touched more than any of my other guns. She is thought of more than any of my other guns.

I love my glock.

At the risk of being anthropomorphic...

I had a big bodied Colt Python but she became just to heavy and her bark was just too much...

I had a sleek sexy H&K P-7 but she just was too hot to handle (literally - gas port above the trigger).

I had a two of the Sig sisters, a P-220 in .45 and a P-226 sophisticated a pleasure to hold but to high maintenance.

I had a Baretta 92 -F, but like all thinks Italian too many quirks.

I had a Kimber Gold Cup, solid American beauty but some how she got away from me.... fell in love with another fella.

But then I found my G-27. She ain't pretty, sometimes hard to hold but solid, faithful, and low maintenance, but always there when I needed her. We've been together for 20 years and I've never lusted (we'll not exactly) for another gun since.

Oh, that was sick! But fun.
