Hello I'm brand new to this group and this site. I have a problem I thought maybe I could get some help with. I've been casually seeing a 35 year old lady who introduced an ambiguous (to me at least) relationship term into our conversation. So far after just a few times getting together with her for drinks and lunch she suddenly suggested we should "hang out". Which 8s odd because I thought that's what we were doing? She sent me a text recently saying "looking forward to hangouts". I texted back: "Me too!" Fast forward to her visit to my place to "hang out". We did, we played a.board game and had some snacks. It's been weeks since.this happened, and she won't respond to any of my messages. This may sound nuts but some of my friends are telling me she might've used "hanging out" as slang for sex or fooling around. I'm not up on the latest dating euphemisms... but could my friends be right?
