Hi, I created this group to share information and discuss the beach lifestyle on the Pinellas County Gulf Beaches from Clearwater Beach to Pass A Grille/St. Pete Beach. I believe that our beach lifestyle is one of the best kept secrets for vacationing or a second home. If you don't live here. feel free to ask questions regarding relocation, visiting or just "secret" local diamonds in the rough for eating, drinking, shopping or just relaxing. Our barrier islands are a string of laid back, quiet towns with some of the most beautiful soft sugary white sand beaches in the world. No discoteques or a wild night life here. Beach bars and wonderful small restaurants. Picture a Corona commercial...That's what it's about...Realxing and enjoying. Maybe listening to some Jimmy Buffet while floating in the soothing Gulf of Mexico water...or maybe sitting at a beach bar with a cocktail in hand and listening to one of our many local live beach musicians. Fishing is one of the favorite pasttimes of locals. Madeira Beach has been called a quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem! Please post photos and join in!
