getting cold in North Carolina

I hear alot of up north talk, and I just want to say that i can't wait to move to Colorado! It's been like a year and a half in the making, though I've wanted to move there like 10 years ago! I love the weather and explaining to my family how weather works. I'm the go to guy on how the weather will be. I'll give an example later.

Hi Guys. Im new to the group and I have been fascinated by weather since i was young. I love all kinds of weather, and since i live in arizona, i get tons of monsoon thunderstorms. 2 hours north and your stuck in four feet of snow. thats arizona for ya!

I'm so glad I found this group as I have always been facinated by weather and would love to storm chase, hey, what could be more beautiful than a perfectly formed Supercell? I can't wait to move up North where I will finally be able to experience the changing seasons, especially Fall and Winter. I won't miss the hurricanes either, lol. Take care, - lil red -

It's been pretty nice here. Little rain here and there.

It was forecasted to have heavy rain all day today with a possible 5 (!!!!!) inches and all we've had is cloudy skies with no rain at all and the sun peeking through the clouds at times ugh

Today was pretty crazy.....it was 94 degrees with 67% humidity which is a 120 heat index! Now it's 79 with 95% humidity with some bright lightning and loud crackles of thunder outside! And for the next 2 days Ana can have a serious impact on our weather down here....we'll see.

The last 3 days have been extremely rainy and thundery down here!
