I pray for a return to sanity in our country. The long drought in the Southwestern states is going to have horrendous effects on all of us. I despise the mindset of Californians that keep electing stupid officials but WE ALL need the agricultural products California offers. It has taken almost 100 years for our country to rise from third world status to become a Superpower. However the return to Third World status can happen very quickly.

Howdy all! I’ve just joined City-Data Forums and found the group here and it seemed like a good place to get started. I’m a long time Republican, grew up in So. California, but escaped from that place sixteen years ago. I live in rural north Texas now and I’m very happy I made the move.
I don’t see much activity in this group, I’m sorry to say. But there does seem to be lots of like-minded people here, even if they’re not saying much. So I’m happy to be here with you all and I’m hoping we, as Republicans, can all help bring some sanity back to this country.
