By the way this accident happened when he was 7 he is now 19 he had no problems with this knee after it healed

Hi I was wondering if someone could answer a question or direct me to a group that can help. My son went to enlist in the Marines and due to a car accident where he had surgery on his leg his papers went to meps and then further up. I was wondering if someone could tell me how long does this process take. I have been waiting 2 1/2 months and the recruiter said he hasn't heard anything is this a normal wait time?
