Hi all,

Need someone to come by the house and wash our two cars (just can't find the time to take them somewhere and wait while they get worked on).

Just want a basic exterior wash, mostly interested in thorough vacuum and interior cleaning.

Please reply with recommendations.

Thank you!

I doubt you will find someone to do just a basic car wash. It’s just not worth their time for such an easy and low paying job. But for a good detail, Suds on Stone. https://www.sudsonstone.com/

Any chance you have the Nextdoor App? You may be able to find a teenager willing to make a few bucks.

If you are willing to drive, Greenville Car Wash has a couple locations that will do a exterior wash and interior vacuum. You get out of your car and wait for it to be done. Just takes a few minutes and will probably cost less than hiring a teenager. Maybe $15 (just wash, no extras)?

Where? I thought they sold out and Autobell, damn I can barely type that, bought all the locations and converted them to the worthless car washes they are now.

Check with the folks at Carisma Detailing. They generally have cars brought to them, but they may make an exception depending on if you're having them do enough work and where you are in relation to them and all that. They will also sometimes assist with pickup/drop off based on the same conditions of amount of work and location and all that.

I've had them do a bunch of cars for me. They do great work.

Well, I'll be....

Didn't know they sold out. Since Waves moved near me I got their subscription wash and haven't looked back. Haven't been over the the Greenville Car Wash location on Main St, Simpsonville in quite a while.

So you are saying it is a Autobell wash now?

Yes, and very bad and super slow. (Or it was, I havent been back in since) I dont know about Woodruff rd, but I assume its just as bad based on reviews I just read, but it seems the Greenville Car Wash on Laurens Rd is still there? The only full service I know of now is Auto X, and thet arent the greatest, and of course Autobell.

There is still an independent full-service car wash in Greer. Main Street Car Wash 401 S. Buncombe Rd. Greer SC 29650. 864-879-2070. I have never been there, but I’ve seen it next to DellaVentura’s. They do not have a website, but Google lists th hours as M-Sat 8-6. The Google reviews were good.
