This is the one place I have had extended family and relatives of friends travel to for Medical Care. It's not an overly large population center (small place really), but it is a place with an excellent reputation. Those who I know who traveled there were really happy with the care they received.
My grandmother got some excellent care there and a sister of a good friend of mine got some excellent care there.
One time too my mom when she was in the hospital had a nurse who used to work in the Mayo clinic and OMG he was just great. I loved it how he told us up front when mom was in intensive care at what intervals he would be there at night and what would be happening. I haven't been to hospitals a lot, but this is the first time I ever had someone communicate all that up front and it was so helpful and nice. This was at a hospital in Chicago.
