Exactly. Until I started reading this board, I never even really thought about Texas. It's just... there. I honestly do not get the obsession here with that state. And I'll never get over them giving us Ted Cruz which is a whole different issue but... yeah.

As long as fossil fuels are still alive and kicking then losing Houston would be a huge and devasting blow to the energy sector. It would put a dent in our innovation capacities in general especially in relation to space exploration. I don't think Houston will ever totally go away (Galveston and Texas City is another story due to climate change) but a warming climate and increased heavy rain events have and will continue to cause grief for Houston residents so I wonder what the future effect will be on its growth.

I’ve lived in Texas for 8 years and I’m with you on Ted Cruz. He sucks.

Just curious as I've heard no buzz about this out there, but...

are any plans afloat to make metropolitan Houston disappear?

Did the ancient tablet-&-stylus-net ever have a thread titled "How would the North Atlantic change if the Atlantis Metro just disappeared?

"How would the US change if the Houston Metro just disappeared?"

Springfield Isotopes would be 2017 World Series Champs.

If Houston disappeared, the phrase "Houston, we have a problem" would have no meaning.

I'm miserable? You're picking imaginary internet fights. Literally nobody has said a word.

Seems like your issue with Texas is political and you do think about it cause of Ted Cruz. I've seen your posts about Texas before. Nice try lol
