I'd say the same for most of Arkansas, as well.

200+ days drizzle / yr, GREEN all winter...
That eco-region is only a portion of Washington state, the rest of which is as arid as the western portion is rainy. And western Washington, western Oregon and NorCal are very small portion of "the west".

It's all about rain. Take a look at this map of average annual precipitation by state. Blue and purple mean more precipitation:

If you want an entire large section of multiple states, teh East Coast is the most green overall. If you want the actual lushest green area, it is a tie between the Olympic National Park and the east side of the Hawaiian islands.

Outside of coastal OR and WA (the area west of the Cascades) the West is really brown and pretty barren landscape. The east is a lot greener.

What a weird poll. lol Whats the next poll gonna be? "Whats warmer, Alaska or Hawaii?"

Of course the east is more green than the west. There are green areas of the west, but theyre few and far between.

Generally as a whole, the east is greener, however if you are talking about the immediate coast (10 mi from coast line) the west is greener through out the year, especially north of San Fran, but even if you go south it's only brown in the summer, and it's still greener than the dead of winter back east. And the Olympic peninsula/hoh rainforest is definitely the greenest.
