Seaharbour,

We have only used professional movers one time, and it was for our recent move from Idaho to Georgia. We used North American and were very pleased with their pricing and service and would definitely use them again.

My parents used United each time they moved and wouldn't use anyone else. Personally I wasn't terribly impressed with their crew when they moved from Houston to Phoenix, but I suppose crews can vary from region to region.

ABF. I just wished they also had packers & unpackers.

Stellar customer service; drivers were professional, corteous, & friendly; GREAT prices & even storage, if needed, is beyond reasonable.

Stuff left SWFL on a Wed morning & arrived in NE OH that Fri morning.

Default Minimum Weight?

We will be moving about 200 miles (out of state) and have moved quite a bit during the past year ourselves. We still have the furniture of a large bedroom, small bedroom, dining room, kitchen table w/chairs, and office to move and would like to use one of the well known movers. Do you know if there is a minimum amount that is required for a move with these movers?

Generally movers will have a 2000 lb minimum. This usually equates to 2 rooms. It sounds like you have alittle more than that, I have been in the industry for about 20 years and you can do the move at a reasonable cost. get a couple of quotes. Just be carefull not to get taken in by the low ball bandits.
