The United States will have no history by the time this is over. It's very sad. I am reasonably confident in that, because while my generation, the Millennials, might not as a whole support all of this destruction/erasure, those that are opposed to these changes don't have the energy or confidence to take a public stance due to cancel culture/culture of personal destruction. That really leaves the radical left unopposed in their efforts to eliminate.

Here in Chicago, they're even going after their own. Boystown, Chicago's famous gay village/bar strip, is under pressure to rename itself to something "more inclusive." Apparently, 'cis-gendered' gay males are a privileged class now...

Great point. The white privilege the Irish benefited from lead them to die by the 100s doing the dangerous work of building the Canal for pitily wages. This is too much for society in 2020 to tolerate.
