has anywun noticed that the city of Dania is (in my opinion) the most racialy segregated city in Broward? i mean dam quite literaly the train-tracks divide most of the population by skin-color.

this iz coming from a whiteboi stayin between Phippin-Waiters and Ja Ely

Yes, I have actually. Theres also the "white trash" part between the tracks and say 2 blocks east of US1. In fact most of the white areas have a white trash vibe. I'm not a fan of Dania, it reminds me a lot of a crappy part of south shore Long Island.

Which part of the South Shore would that be? I don't know the South Shore well at all (have only been to the Five Towns and to Long Beach), but I am just curious.

I haven't been to Dania in probably 10 years. I don't remember seeing a black area there; I just remember working-class and middle-class white areas. I just looked at a Google map of Dania, and come to think of it, I think the ONLY place I have been in Dania is east of Federal Highway. Are there many Latin Americans in the Dania area nowadays?

There are still hardly any Latin Americans/Hispanics, the ones that are there are mostly in the nicer areas well east of US1. The black area is (as the OP stated) literally west of the tracks and pretty depressed. I would compare Dania Beach overall to maybe Baldwin although it's like a combination of the whole area to me.

I am moving to se dania, off of US1 and down a couple blocks by the school. It seems like a pretty quiet neighborhood. Please give me some feedback on this area. Is my house going to get broken into and will I be raped and murdered? I have read a LOT of bad about this...
