I like the nightlife in Fort Lauderdale compared to Miami (south beach specifically) better. It seems that people in FTL are more down to earth, while South Beach clubgoers are very pretentious and snotty. I like the downtown Las Olas area during the week and Friday, and then the Hard Rock in Hollywood for Saturdays.
