Question for other transplants I guess. If you know, you know. Any recommendations for authentic NY style pizza? TIA

There are a couple of MOD pizzerias in the area. Pretty decent wood fired pizzas. Get the thick crust version, as it's closer to NYC pizza.

I went to Anthony's Coal Fired, and the pizza and wings were terrible.

Glad I’m not the only one of that opinion - Anthony’s coal fire is cheeks.

Not Ft. Lauderdale, but OP if you’re ever in North Palm Beach, definitely go to Grimaldi’s…it won’t disappoint.

I met friends last night at the Sicilian Oven in Plantation and split The Boss with my husband. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Very simple pie—mozzarella, sauce and fresh basil on a thin crust (but not charred as I agree with the criticism of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza).
