I'm looking to buy a single family home (2B/2B) in one of the nicer areas in or around Fort Lauderdale. I'm a single professional male and would really like to find a nice house in a very safe and upscale area. Ideally I could find something east of I-95 but willing to consider anything throughout the metro.

Any recommendations on what areas I may want to check out? Any info would be helpful.

Budget makes all the difference. Upscale neighborhoods in Broward don’t come cheap.

You said single, but if you have any kids, maybe try Parkland, or Weston if it’s in the budget.
