Hi,

If I do NOT want to go to Miami, what is the best way to spend 4-5 days/nights in South Florida/how would you split it up?

One day in West Palm Beach, one day in Delray and 2 days in Ft. Lauderdale? Focusing on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale?

Question is for mostly fun nightlife/mingling, daytime will figure out/be busy anyway.

Appreciate any insights!

Thanks

I like Everglades south of homestead and Some parks in Florida keys like Bahia Honda and Long Key State parks.

If you want to stick to ft.Lauderdale stop by Annie Klob nature center to look at the mangroves.

Haulover beach is excellent even better than Miami beach from a scenic perspective.

Stay at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas. Great property on the New River. It's tons of fun to hop on the Water Taxi and ride it all over Fort Lauderdale. Eat at all the great restaurants on Las Olas. Lobster Bar, Big City Tavern, Boathouse (on the water at the Riverside but don't think hotel restaurant), El Camino, Cafe Europa, Louie Bossi, Casa Sensi, Tuscan Grill, Roccos Tacos.

Down on the beach, S3, Coconuts, Casablanca, Steak 954.

We have beautiful beaches, take advantage of that.

Yeah, the nightlife at Bahia Honda is just rocking... Very convenient to Fort Lauderdale as well.

Don't discount those sing-a-longs around the campfire in the campground!

That's true. But it pales in comparison to the Anne "Klob" Nature Center at night. Which is also much more convenient if looking for things in Ft Lauderdale.
