My husband works for the airlines and has to transfer to Fort Lauderdale which means we have to sell our beautiful home in PA and move to FL. We have 2 children, 10 & 11, so I'm looking to move someplace that has good schools, community, is not to far for him to drive to the airport, and is SAFE. My husband doesn't mind driving about 45min-1hour to work, so it doesn't have to be right in Fort Lauderdale.

Weston will work on all counts. The drive to the airport can be done in as little as 20 minutes if it isn't during rush hour.

We've lived in Parkland since 1987 after living in beautiful NH, and couldn't recommend a better city, better schools, etc. We raised two boys from kindergarten to college and feel they got a private school education for a public school price. We have beautiful gated and non-gated communities which are all very safe and a great place to raise a family. It takes us about 35 minutes to get to the airport. Parkland schools were rated #1 by Forbes magazine for most bang for the real estate buck!
