Ok, so I think I've narrowed my condo search to either Hallandale or sunny isles. I'm looking just to rent as I'm new to the area.. Anybody have opinions on Hallandale beach club?
It looks pretty reasonable, can rent for around 1800 for a 1 bed.
What is that condo/ neighborhood like?

Hallandale has many snowbirds and retirees. Unless you're a snowbird or a retiree, you'd probably be better off in Sunny Isles, IMO. For $1800 you can do much better than 1br in either place.

Toured the area today and pretty impressed w the beach club condos. I'm single and in my 20s but the scene felt about the right speed for me. Maybe somebody could help w a few questions though.. Is Hallandale beach blvd always so congested between 95 and the beach? What would the commute time be like to Miami lakes area during rush hour? Thanks!!

Every time I drive on Hallandale Beach Blvd, I always get stuck in traffic there.

Everytime I drive on Hallandale Beach Blvd, there's someone going 15-20 mph with a Quebec or a New York tag.

The traffic on Hallandale Beach Blvd is bad, but the traffic on Ives Dairy Road in Aventura/Sunny Isles area is worse. I agree with the poster who said Sunny Isles is a better option. I also think that 1800 for a 1BR is overpriced. You should be able to do better than that.
